Inquiry is the fulcrum of the learning process that opens the vistas to higher order thinking skills. Learning happens beyond the classrooms, where all the needs of the 21st century learner are blended in a wholesome and engaging manner.
The foundational stage of a child refers to the early years of development, typically spanning from birth to around eight years of age.Learning progresses from known to unknown. Students learn through a play-way method and engage in storytelling to ignite their imagination. Toys and educational artefacts enhance curiosity and expression thereby developing the language competency. Art /craft enhances imagination and creativity, Music and Dance ensure that rhythm and kinaesthetic development takes place and gross motor coordination is achieved through Sports.
The students are involved in hands on activities and make sense of concepts with the help of concrete physical learning aids. The facilitator models and practically demonstrates the concepts and ideas while actively interacting with the children. The students think and analyse after every activity and enhance their skills through reflection and inference.In this stage, educators aim to create a supportive and engaging environment where children feel empowered to explore, discover and express themselves freely.The preparatory stage also emphasizes fostering curiosity, creativity and independence, laying the groundwork for future academic success and lifelong learning.

Alongside academic growth, the middle stage focuses on fostering social-emotional development, as children navigate peer relationships, develop self-awareness and explore their identities.
