Classroom Dynamics

Our belief – A Happy child is a learning child and we have successfully created a nurturing space where each student feels secure, safe and appreciated. 

Our classrooms are abuzz with productive energy as everyone is deeply engaged and invested in the teaching- learning process. This synergy is created due to the high-quality peer and teacher-student relationship. Students have an autonomy in the class where their voice and choice are respected. Essential agreements are framed mutually along with the students which are displayed for acceptable behaviour making them more aware and mindful. The teachers are emotionally available for every student who approaches them without the fear of being judged.

Clubs

The school offers a choice of club activities. It is mandatory for every child to choose one club of their interest for an entire academic session. Each club has a student as a Club Master assisted by a student Secretary. The students also have the autonomy to plan and organize the activities for the session in collaboration with the teacher-in-charge.

The guiding principle behind the operation of these clubs is to inculcate life skills like communication, adaptability, time management and leadership.

The students get ample opportunities to showcase their leadership skills within and outside the school.

Sports Facilities

These facilities provide space for Health and Physical Education, encouraging students to stay active and healthy. They help in developing teamwork, leadership and develop social skills through various team sports and activities. Access to well-equipped sports facilities also allows students to discover and nurture their athletic talents, fostering a sense of discipline and commitment. Additionally, sports participation acts as a recreational activity which enhances mental well-being, reduces stress and improves academic performance by promoting a balanced lifestyle.

Performing Arts

Participation in arts is essential for fostering creativity and self-expression among students. These programs provide opportunities for students to explore and develop their talents in music, theatre, dance and other artistic disciplines. Participation in performing arts helps build confidence, improve communication skills and enhance emotional intelligence. It also encourages collaboration and teamwork as students work together on performances and productions. Moreover, engaging in the performing arts can enrich cultural awareness and appreciation, contributing to a well-rounded education.

Career Guidance And Counselling

Students must have clarity of thought about their goals in life and it starts from the subject/stream they choose in Grade XI (Eleven). To make the process smooth we introduce career counselling from Grade 8 onwards.

The students get an objective report on their innate strengths, skills, interests and aptitude after undergoing psychometric assessment. Through individual and group counselling they get a deeper insight on what path to pursue in the future, as they get exposed to all the career options.

In Grades 11&12 they will be informed about the admission process in the best Indian and Foreign universities. Guest lecturers /experts from different fields will be invited on a regular basis to address the students and further broaden their horizons.
